Janet Jackson made a special appearance on tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she took part in the Roots’ Tonight Show tradition of inviting extremely popular artists to perform their hits using only musical instruments you’d find in an elementary school classroom. Jackson, Fallon, and the Roots performed her 1995 hit single “Runaway.” Watch it happen below.
