The Gozney Dome pizza oven can use wood or gas for fuel.

Looking for some geeky gift ideas for a friend, family member or just that super swell person in your life?

With a plethora of gadgets and thingamabobs out there, it’s easy to be overwhelmed from all the choices that you can pick from. From personal electronics and kitchen gadgets to toys for the young and young at heart, there’s a wide range of tech gifts for you to choose from.

With that in mind, here is our latest list of gadget gift recommendations to help you find that cool present. This list will also be updated as we get closer to the holidays so make sure to check back regularly to see what other neat gift ideas we have in store.

Gozney Dome Premium Outdoor Pizza Oven

We’re going big with our first recommendation — literally.

The Gozney Dome is an impressive-looking backyard beast that can fire up anyone’s pizza game thanks to its blazing level heat. We’re talking up to 900 F for lovers of true Neapolitan pizza out there.

Not sure if the target of your gift giving prefers wood or gas? In addition to wood-fire cooking, the Gozney Dome also comes with an integrated gas burner and regulator. It’s like having your cake, er, pizza and eating it, too.

The Gozney Dome even comes with a steam injector that lets users bake bread that’s crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. It also has a digital thermometer so you know exactly how hot you’re baking.

Add a tough, durable exterior that comes in either Bone or Olive colors and the Gozney Dome will be at home in any backyard. Just make sure you’ve got enough space as it’s quite big. It’s also quite pricey so it’s definitely something you’ll only give to someone you really, really, really like. Like your own personal pizza saint.

It’s the next best thing to building your own outdoor wood-fired oven.

Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Bluetooth Headset

Everything is better with cat ears.

At least that’s what cosplayers and a certain segment of the anime and gaming fandom believe.

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT wireless headset features cat ears. 'Nuff said.

It’s a philosophy that’s reflected by Razer’s Kraken Kitty V2 Bluetooth Headset.

Designed for gamers and streamers, the Kraken Kitty V2 comes with a built-in microphone that uses an audio pickup pattern that rejects sound from the sides while focusing toward the direction of the user’s voice. To transmit an even clearer voice, the Kraken Kitty V2 also comes with noise canceling technology.

The headphones, meanwhile, support 7.1 surround sound to mimic an eight-channel home theater setup. The earcups also feature a comfortable snug fit to help with marathon gaming sessions.

The cat ears, by the way, aren’t just there for show. Well, actually they are but they also go the extra mile by featuring Razer’s trademark Chroma RGB lighting. This means they can be customized via multiple color patterns, including in response to emotes and alerts. By the way, the ears on the Kraken Kitty V2 BT are pointier than the Pro version. Details matter, people!

As far as color options, you can get it in pink or black right meow.

Ausom Scooter

Micromobility is a big thing these days and an electric scooter goes a long way in bridging the gap for shorter commutes.

The Ausom Scooter checks plenty of boxes thanks to its comfortable ride, zippy speed and incredible range. This scooter can actually go up to 50 miles on a single charge, provided you're not punching the acceleration button to reach high speeds all the time. The range makes it great not just for students but folks commuting to work.

The Ausom Leopard electric scooter.

The Ausom Scooter also comes with an optional seat included for folks who want to ride it while sitting down plus headlights and even turn signal lights. It's almost like a mini motorcycle.

Throw in pneumatic tires and an assortment of shock absorbers and you have a comfy ride that won’t jar your teeth from every little bump in the road

Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 Eye Massager

Know someone who works in front of a computer all day and loves to spend time on their smartphone in the dark before going to bed?

If you do, it’s quite likely that said person suffers from dry eyes and eye strain. Let’s just say we know this from, um, experience, OK?

The Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 eye massager.

For folks eyeing relief from itchy, pulsating eyeballs, the Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 Eye Massager just might do the trick. This eye massager does a great job of putting the squeeze on various pressure points on your forehead, temples and cheeks to get that blood flowing. The heated eye patch, meanwhile, helps condition the eyes to address that itchy, dry feeling.

The Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 Eye Massager also comes with some built-in tunes or can be paired with a smartphone or tablet for folks who want to pipe in their own music via the device.

Note that the device is not recommended for folks with conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma or those who have undergone an eye procedure.

For folks with relatively healthy eyeballs, though, this does a great job in providing relief from eye strain and might even get rid or reduce the pain from headaches. It helped clear our sinuses, too.

Gunnar Gaming Glasses (and for computer users, too)

Speaking of eye strain, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say.

For folks who game a lot or are in front of a computer all day, one potential gift option would be the Gunnar gaming glasses.

Gunnar's gaming glasses come in different styles and are designed to block blue light from smartphones, monitors and TV displays.

Gunnar gaming glasses feature a special coating that blocks the harmful blue light emitted by phones, monitors and LED television screens that cause eye strain and fatigue. They’re kind of like driving glasses, but for electronic displays.

Gunnar blue light glasses also come in various styles.

In addition to standard eyewear designs, Gunnar also has a line of glasses inspired by video games such as the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Edition pictured above and pop-culture characters such as a Spider-Man Collection that also includes kids glasses for little ones.

Gunnar also provides prescription versions of its glasses, though this will usually bump up the price above $200.

Armitron Ocean Plastic Wave Wristwatch

Once ubiquitous on people’s wrists, watches have been reduced to mere novelties after the advent of smartphones.

That being said, wristwatches still make for a nice fashion statement these days with some brands such as Rolex even seeing shortages.

Armitron's Ocean Plastic Wave wristwatches.

For folks who want to sport some style on their wrists while also supporting a good cause, one option is the Armitron Ocean Plastic series of watches. Armitron’s sustainable Ocean Plastic watch collection uses plastic that’s been recovered from the ocean and recycled for use in its timekeeping pieces. At a time when millions of tons of plastic trash find their way into our oceans, every little bit helps in turning the tide against waste. Even the Armitron Ocean Plastic Wave boxes are made from recycled materials.

It certainly helps that the watches also look nice. If you know someone who appreciates environmental causes, the Armitron Ocean Plastic Wave wristwatch could be a fitting present indeed.

Mega Modz Modded Gaming Controller

For the controller freak in your life, a modded controller is just like much needed therapy.

One option is a Mega Modz modded controller, which boasts plenty of the bells and whistles that hardcore gamers like, especially for genres such as shooting games.

The Mega Modz Zombie Outbreak modded PlayStation 5 controller.

In addition to the standard controller buttons, Mega Modz’s PS5 tournament controllers, for example, include four custom gaming buttons on the back that can be remapped to a user’s liking. It also has responsive smart triggers and bumpers and tactile mechanical face buttons which feel nice to the touch. It even lets you swap its analog sticks between a concave or convex surface to better match the user’s preferences.

Add unique designs such as the Zombie Outbreak PS5 DualSense controller pictured above or 19th century Japanese artist Hokusa’s iconic Great Wave Kanagawa design and users can also game in style.

Available controller options include PS5, PS4, XBOX and Nintendo Switch.

We’ve got more gadget gift recommendations to come that we’ve personally tested as we count down to the holidays, including:

  • Wireless earbuds
  • Portable monitors
  • Travel accessories
  • Gaming controllers
  • Budget PCs
